  : We had a great stay, and were very impressed with the Ivy. It was clean, had a nice pool and gym and the staff could not have been any friendlier. Location was great, many local restaurants within walking distance. Highly recommend.

Disappointing

  : The staff was courteous, friendly ( but unfortunately clueless when it comes to procedures, and problem solving issues in the unit )The swimming pool area, and the pool were great.The lobby area is beautiful, and the public areas of the hotel have a lot of charm.The bed was comfortable.
  : I changed rooms 3 times in 24 hours. I checked in during the evening at 8pm or so. The first room they gave me was dirty. The sofa and chairs had ugly stains, the desk, table, and furniture had sticking liquids and glass marks on them, the bathroom was dirty, the shelves were dusty. It was impossible for me to stay there. They gave me a second room the same night. By that time it was late, I was tired. My new room was only marginally cleaner. The bathroom was in worse shape than the first room, with awful blotches and rust on the bathroom mirror, and crass / mold at the corners of the shower floor. The washing machine was functional but the dryer was dead.The following morning I changed room again, this time the room was a bit cleaner, the bathroom slightly cleaner, the mirror better, but both the washing machine, and dryer were dead ! There is a laundromat in the building, and I had to pay to use it, despite the fact that I paid for a unit with a washing machine and dryer. That's not fine.I asked if I could cancel the remaining 3 days at no charge to go to a different hotel, as they did not honor their part of the deal, but they declined. I thought it pointless to move again, as it is too much work, and decided to endure for my next 3 more booked days. I bought some cleaning products and disinfectants and cleaned the room properly myself - Not something I should be doing on vacation in Thailand, in an alleged luxury hotel. I checked out once I did my time, never to be seen again, and went to a much better ( and cleaner) luxury apart-hotel in Bangkok for another 4 days.Will never go back there.

  : The rooms, pool and gym and location were all good.
  : Sadly no WiFi in my room for the night I was there due to maintenance. WiFi was working by the pool but I discovered this by chance the following morning.
